Can I use a voice memo from my iPhone?
Yes. iPhone voice memos export as M4A — just AirDrop it to your computer or email it to yourself and upload the file. We support MP3, WAV, and M4A.
What if my recording has background noise?
Vosk AI handles moderate background noise well. For best results, record in a quiet room. A lapel mic or even earphone mic makes a significant difference.
Does it work with accents or non-native English?
Yes — Vosk handles a range of accents. Clear pronunciation helps accuracy. You can also review and edit the transcript before generating the video.
My voice recording is 10 minutes long — does that work?
Technically yes, but for social media posting a 60–90 second clip works best. For YouTube or training content, longer recordings work fine.
Can I record in a language other than English?
The current Vosk model is English-optimised. Other languages may have lower accuracy. The stock footage search works for any language though.
Is there a minimum recording length?
No minimum. Even a 20-second voice clip can become a short video. Aim for at least 3 sentences for the best visual result.
